My first Kundlini Yoga class was taught by a dear teacher, in which myself and a few friends accidently stumbled upon. For me, it was love at first site with the practice as the postures, breath work, music and mantra meditations seemed to fill a void in my life that was calling for something more. Soon thereafter, I started classes in Kundalini Yoga Teacher’s Training, which greatly impacted and changed my life. Not long after starting Kundalini Yoga Teacher’s Training, I realized that my life would, in many ways, never be the same, but rather ever-growing and evolving.
The sacredness and science of the teachings of Kundalini Yoga, brought here to the United States by Yogi Bhajan, impacted me in the very core of my being. Through Kundalini Yoga, I have met amazing people inspiring me to reach deep within and connect to the higher consciousness that resides in us all. Through specific teachings, including yoga sets, pranayama (breath work) and ancient mantra meditations, an ever-growing level of awareness can be reached. Kundalini Yoga is a loving and kind practice, always honoring where one is on this life journey, whilst gently encouraging new patterns for growth.
