“Spring has sprung, the grass has riz, I wonder where my flowers iz?”.
It’s such a simple, silly little quote, but behind that silliness is a deeper gift. As our Spring Equinox enters on Tuesday March 20 at 9:15am PST, we officially leave Winter and all its blessings behind. Winter is our time of rest, retreating and re-seeding our lives. The coziness of Winter helps us to slow down and reflect on our lives and what is truly important, what is working, what is not working – and plant the seeds for the necessary adjustments. As the cool days and rains come, those seeds are slowly nurtured as they begin to germinate and be brought to life.
Then the sweet, sacred Goddess, Spring, comes with more rain and warmer days and slowly, gently the seeds you have thoughtfully planted begin to emerge and break through the soil. The new life, the new light that is you, strengthens and brightens for all to see, for all to witness. This is where your “flowers iz” , , , right within you – feel the bloom, the growth, the blossom, the transformation, stand tall, put your face and heart to the sun and the wind and remember your power – your truth . . . you are amazing!!!
